Presentations, Physical Exam Skills for the Wards

Updated: Dec 29, 2025

This is lesson is regards to some physical exam findings to remember, and giving presentations for early MS3s. I remember wishing I had a premier before my first day on the wards on templates, how to efficiently chart review and presenting. Below are videos and underlined hyperlinks that demonstrate these skills

Presentation

Remember party, your presentation is giving the objective, which includes your physical exam findings. It is understated how important and difficult it is to learn good physical exam skills. I think certain places may emphasize it more than others, but they will likely be a range in physical exam skills. If you have time, it helps to practice them and then being able to articulate those findings.
